In addition to an impressive nearly 35-year album discography, versatile singer and guitarist Michael Ross has performed with a bevy of greats from multiple jazz sub genres, including Ramsey Lewis, Ronnie Laws, Jonathan Butler, Candy Dulfer, Hank Crawford and Candy Dulfer. On his unique two track EP, THE TRIBUTE, the artist cleverly and creatively pays homage to three greats he never got to work with. Ross adds an imaginative spin on Al Jarreau’s famous vocals on Antonio Carlos Jobim’s timeless, hypnotic “Agua De Beber” and he also delivers a beautiful and thoughtful rendering of Joe Sample’s classic “A Rainy Day in Monterey” showcasing an intricate guitar style and production expertise.
